Based on scientific research, our Health Rating analyzes individual ingredients in each planned meal. Depending on certain food groups, and how they impact factors such as cardiovascular disease (CVD), hypertension, type-2 diabetes and/or some cancers, we are able to attribute a positive or negative score to them.

It's a lot more complicated than that, but we thought this might help to give a good idea. Remember that the health rating of a complete meal plan is much more important than the health rating of each single recipe. This is because the healthfulness of our diet is more about how we eat overall over our lives as opposed to every single thing we eat.  Here’s a simple breakdown of what each health rating means:
