You can now easily chat with your clients using Meal Garden's software. Here's how it's done:

  • Click on the 'Customers' tab on the tool bar at the top of the screen (1).
  • Next to each name in your list of customers, you will see a 'Chat' option (2).
  • Click the 'Chat' button and a new pop-up window will appear on the screen. This is your chat box. 
  • Type in the text box at the bottom of the screen (3) and hit 'Send' (4). You can also add attachments to send to your clients by either dragging and dropping a file into the text box (3) or by clicking 'Attachment' (5) and choosing a file from your computer. 

Once you send a message or file, you will see the message in green with the time and date it was sent. If you attach a file, only the file name will appear. Clients can click on this file (6) and it will automatically download.


If you are not currently on the system, you will be notified by email if you have an unread chat message. 

Please Note: While our chat function is private and secure, it is not currently HIPAA compliant. Please be mindful of the information you are sharing over chat.
