Account Settings

To access your settings, click on the avatar/profile in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

The next screen you see will have three sections; the right navigation pane, which you can use to switch between the different categories, the left content pain, where you will add or change content and content tabs, which are used to organize similar content in the content window, providing a little more clarity for what you're working on.

Details

This section includes your profile, your about page, and your login details.

Profile

Similar to any of your professional or social media profiles, you create a profile in Meal Garden so that people know who they are interacting with.

Your profile includes:

  • A photo (generally, a headshot)

  • A background image/banner

  • Personal details (first/last name)

  • Credentials

  • Business Name

You can also include a display name, which will replace your first and last name when displayed.

Where your profile is displayed

  • The bottom of any meal plans or collections that you share via your website, an email, or social media.

  • The top of your home page if you decide to use Meal Garden for your website.

  • In the 'connections' tab on your clients or members' profile settings

Your headshot, banner, and name are displayed at the top of the recommendations page when your clients access their custom portals.

In addition, your profile includes a brief bio, which you can enter on the next tab, labeled 'about'.

About

The about tab includes two fields:

1) A field to create (or copy-and-paste) your bio and,

2) A video link - if you'd like to add a video

You can change your email address and your password here.

If you'd like, you can also connect Meal Garden with one of your social accounts, so you don't have to worry about your password.

Home Page

If you haven't set up or aren't planning on setting up a website you can use Meal Garden as your main digital landing page.

The home page includes your profile and any content that you'd like to share with visitors or potential customers.

Billing

This is where you can update your billing information and download any previous receipts.

Payments

If you're going to sell content through Meal Garden this is where you connect your Stripe account and set up any promo codes.

Promo Codes

You can use promo codes to provide discounts to specific members, or pieces of content.

You can also use promo codes to offer trial access to your subscription programs.

Some of the things you can add to a promo code:

Use this setting if you are focused on a specific condition or type of issue. You can set up the default search within Meal Garden to reflect those parameters.

Client Experience

This is where you design your customer-facing Meal Garden.

Branding

In Meal Garden, you can:

  • Change the color of the app and the text

  • Change the font used

  • Add your own logo, replacing the Meal Garden logo in the top right-hand corner

  • Add a mobile app icon, which will be used on the phones of your clients/members when they access your Meal Garden from the mobile app

You'll find two tabs here:

Sign-Up | Sign-In Page

This is the page that all your members will see the first time they log in.

You can add an image and/or any text you'd like to appear above the sign-up details.

To preview your sign-up page, just click on the Sign Up Links button at the bottom of the screen and then copy the 'Client Sign-Up' (direct link) into your browser.

<insert video>

If you don't make any changes to the sign-up page, this is what your members will see (your graphics and colors)

The tokens you can use are:

  • {professional_name} - the name, that you have entered in your public profile

  • {business_name} - the business name, that you have entered in your public profile

  • {client_name} - the first name and last name you used when creating the client record

Below is a list of the basic auto-emails you'll have access to in Meal Garden.

You can update both the message and the subject line for each email.

Note: You will have the option to create a custom message each time you send a content update from within the system.

Below is a list of settings that you can control in the portal:

Cover Page

Here you can set up a default cover page image and description for all your content.

This way, you won't have to add a page to each piece of content you create.

Once you've set it up, you can click on the 'preview page' on the action bar at the bottom of the screen to see what it looks like.

Ancillary Data

At the very bottom of the settings screen, you'll see three categories that provide advanced functionality and personalization.

Goal Templates

When you click 'create goals' you'll launch the form above. From here, you can set the nutrients you'd like to view and their associated goals.

Once you've set your goals, you can add a name in the top right-hand corner and click 'submit' to save the goal set.

Once it's saved, you can add it to any meal plan.

To delete goal sets, click and drag them down and a garbage can will appear.

Tags

You can also create and manage your own tags in Meal Garden.

You can add a description to each tag and the summary screen provides a count of the number of times a particular tag has been used.

Content Categories

Content categories are used to group tags. Think of lifestyles or conditions.

To create a content category, click on 'create'. You can add a description, and an image and then associate the tag with any existing tags.

You can delete content categories by clicking and dragging them to the bottom of the screen, where a garbage can will appear.
